Hackathon

The Datasphir Student Hackathon series gives students a focused environment to prototype ideas, explore new technologies and collaborate with peers over short, intensive building sprints.

Each hackathon is designed around a clear theme or challenge area, encouraging teams to combine creativity with practical problem solving. Students form small teams, define a solution, and work together to design, build and present a working prototype.

Hackathons complement the longer Buildathon programme by giving participants space to experiment with new tools, explore ideas that might not fit into a full programme cycle, and practice rapid iteration under time constraints.

  • Short, time-boxed events focused on rapid prototyping and learning.
  • Opportunities to work with new teammates and expand your network.
  • Guidance and feedback from mentors and industry professionals.
  • Showcase sessions where teams present their prototypes and gather feedback.
