About the Buildathon 1.0

The Datasphir Buildathon 1.0 brings together students from across Nigeria to collaboratively design and develop practical technology solutions that address real-world challenges. In this edition, teams will focus on solving a clearly defined challenge in Nigeria's education sector. The programme nurtures creativity, teamwork, and professional engineering discipline. Participants work in cross-functional teams—developers, designers, and project leads—to plan, build, test, document, and demonstrate solutions using modern product practices, collaborative workflows, and secure system-design principles, guided by mentors and industry professionals.
